"So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen." Matthew 20:16

So many times we do all we can do to be in first place. We give our all and all and are disappointed when we do not finish first. There are those who will seemingly do anything to be first, they will lie, cheat and steal to be on top. There are even times when it seems like those who do not do the right thing always come out better than those of us who do the right thing. We cannot get so consumed about how, or what others do, and become like them, but we must maintain our trust and faith in God throughout everything we go through. The Scripture reminds us not to worry about some things because the last shall be first, and the first last: for many are called, but few are chosen. I encourage you today to keep trusting and depending on Jesus, and not to worry about where you finish right now. Those who are last shall be first, and the first last, because the Lord sees all and He knows all. He sees your hard work and determination to be who He has called and chosen you to be, and He sees what you have been through, and He will bless you in His time. Many are called, and once they are called they go running with a reckless abandonment, and they do not care about anything or anybody, but the Lord has blessed you to follow Him through it all, and there are times when it seems like you can never get ahead, but keep trusting the Lord and He will make you first. You are chosen but God, and you do not need anyone's approval to be who He has called and chosen you to be. He chose you because He knows you, and He needs you just the way you are. Let others run their race their way, and you run yours the way the Lord has chosen you to run it, and let the Lord worry about everything as you go. I am grateful that not only did God call me, He chose me and it may look like I am last now, but I shall be first in His time. Since I know I am chosen by the Lord I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
